1Q17 Earnings Conference Call (Listen to Webcast)

ALi Corporation (3041TT) today held its 2017 first quarter online earnings conference and announced consolidated revenue of NT$755 million, consolidated gross profit of NT$206 million with consolidated gross profit margin of 27%, consolidated operating loss of NT$143 million, net loss of NT$114 million, and basic earnings per share of -NT$0.39 for the first quarter ended March 31^st, 2017.

ALi Corporation stated that first quarter revenue reached NT$755 million, down 9% on a quarter-over-quarter basis, reflecting fewer working days due to the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays. Gross margin for the quarter also went down. The decrease was mainly due to product mix. The operating expense was NT$349 million, down from NT$ 381 million in the previous quarter.

Retail STB, Pay-TV operator STB and others (non-STB) accounted for 45~50%, 40~45% and 5~10% of the total consolidated revenue, respectively, in the first quarter.

ALi Corporation (3041 TT) today announced its unaudited consolidated revenue for March 2017 reached NT$ 338 million, up 50.79% month-over-month and 29.30% year-over-year, respectively. The growth came from higher contribution from both free-to-air STB and Pay-TV operator STB segments.

Furthermore, the company announced to hold its annual shareholders’ meeting on June 14, 2017 with share registration suspended from April 16 to June 14 ,2017. For more information, please refer to MOPS.
